Clinical Pilates

Clinical Pilates involves utilising Pilates and functional movement based exercises to create a program tailored specifically for you. Based on your injury and goals, we can help with rehabilitation, pain management, and overall strength and flexibility.

Unlike studio Pilates, Clinical Pilates is customised to your individual needs and is often used to target specific issues, such as a sore knee or a stiff back. By focusing on strength, mobility and balance through controlled movements, we help you exercise safely, manage and prevent injuries.

At Shenton Quarter Physio, we offer individual 1:1 Clinical Pilates sessions or have small group classes of 3 people. Our clinical pilates are called Physio Rehab, and health fund rebates apply to these classes.

Strength & Balance Class

New in 2026, we are now offering Strength and Balance classes for those looking to maintain and improve their strength, balance, and confidence with everyday movement—particularly important as we age to support independence and reduce the risk of falls. These 45-minute, circuit-style classes are limited to just six participants, allowing our physiotherapists to individualise exercises to suit each person’s goals, abilities, and any underlying conditions. The classes are suitable for a range of fitness levels and can be claimed on private health insurance using the 560 private health code.
