Clinical Pilates
Clinical Pilates
Clinical Pilates involves utilising Pilates and functional movement based exercises to create a program tailored specifically for you. Based on your injury and goals, we can help with rehabilitation, pain management, and overall strength and flexibility.
Unlike studio Pilates, Clinical Pilates is customised to your individual needs and is often used to target specific issues, such as a sore knee or a stiff back. By focusing on strength, mobility and balance through controlled movements, we help you exercise safely, manage and prevent injuries.
Clinical Pilates can help with a range of conditions, including:
Lower back pain, neck pain and sciatica
Post-surgical rehabilitation, including recovery following joint replacement and other orthopaedic surgery
Gluteal tendinopathy and hip pain
Knee, shoulder and other joint injuries
Sports injury rehabilitation
Pregnancy and postnatal recovery
Osteoporosis and bone health
Core weakness, reduced strength, balance and mobility
General injury prevention and improving functional movement
